Happy Birthday to YOU!

Good morning!

Where have the last 7 years gone?!?! Our son is turning 7 in a few short weeks so I made him this card! The paper is from Echo Park - Dino friends, the number 7 is from the Simple Stories -  Let's Party collection, the sentiment is from Stampin' UP! Sky Is the Limit set, ribbon from Dollarama and the enamel dots are from Doodlebug Designs!

I can't wait for him to see this card!

It's Wedding Season!!

My oh my!! The amount of wedding cards I have been asked to make has sky-rocketed :) I am so humbled!

I bought a ton of embossing powders off a lady in the local buy and sell group because I wanted to try heat embossing. Off to Michael's I went, after picking up the powder, and bought myself a heat gun. I got home and got to work. 

Luckily, the lady also gave me some Static Magic-what a life saver when it comes to working with embossing powders! It took a few tries before I got the hang of it!

Happy Mother's Day

Today I am sharing with you a very quick and simple card I made. My mojo wasn't really mojoing this morning but this is what I came up with:

I can say that I really do like the color combinations on this card and I like how the twine looks on it!

For the Bride to be!

This might just be one of my favorite cards I have EVER made! I love the colors my Sister-in-law picked for her wedding- green and purple!

First, I used my cuttlebug and embossed a piece of white paper with the dots. Then I used a heart punch to punch out the little hearts. I stuck them together with glue dots and added a green bow where the top and bottom of the dress met.  I used some die cuts from My Favorite Things and the sentiment is from the Stampin' Up!- Sky is the Limit set. The background is the bridal shower gifts all wrapped up!

Happy Birthday

I wanted to use some new dies I bought from Simon Says Stamp! a few months ago and thought they would be perfect for this card! Birthday cards are my favorite cards to make! You can find the die set here. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up! - Sky is the Limit stamp set and the sequins are from MME. 

This card didn't turn out EXACTLY the way I had envisioned but needless to say, I am happy with it! I think the faux stitching around the edges really adds to it.

THAT folder

Ever since I received this new folder I can't stop using it!

What appeals to me is the simplicity of it. Run it through the Cuttlebug, dress it up a bit, add and sentiment and its done! Quick and Simple!


I do find sympathy cards hard to make.  Unfortunately, we had 2 deaths in town this week. My mother-in-law requested these cards:

...366 days since I last posted.

...366 days since I've had TIME to post-but all that is about to change!! I have promised myself that I will post something crafty AT LEAST once a week!


Valentine's Day is a couple days away and I was asked by my brother-in-law to make a card. I was dying to us this folder, which has now become known as "THAT folder" across the card-making world. To my knowledge, they are only sold in the U.K. I was lucky enough to have my fiance bring me back one from a recent trip across the pond.

I have to say that I LOVE how this card turned out! It was quick and simple. Take a look for yourself:
